ABOUT THIS COVER
When asked about a book that inspires me, “Reconciliation” immediately comes to mind. Following that, I was assigned the task of designing a book cover suitable for this book. The title of the book is all-encompassing and aptly captures the essence of the story, which greatly inspired me.
DESIGN CHOICES
This book holds a spiritual meaning for me, and because purple is known as a spiritual color, I chose to design the cover using purple and pink hues. What resonated with me in the story is the connection with your inner child. That’s why I decided to illustrate this connection as the younger and present versions of myself holding hands. The arch you see on the front symbolizes a gate or door, akin to “new doors opening for you” or “a portal to a new dimension.” Lastly, I incorporated the sea because water can also be healing.
