ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Because the Kidney Foundation is close to me, I decided to create an interactive installation for a study project that raises awareness about salt. The idea was for this installation to be exhibited at the Kidney Foundation’s red carpet event.
RESEARCH METHODS
As I mentioned earlier, this project was of particular importance to me.
That’s why I really made an effort to apply the right research methods and invest time and energy
into conducting the research. I achieved this by conducting tests with both people within and outside the target audience,
communicating extensively with organizations, and mapping out the situation through storyboards.
Below you’ll find an overview of some of the research methods applied.

THE 3 BEST IDEAS
Since everything was new to me as well, I first looked into the ideas I had for this installation. I wrote down the three best ideas and presented them to ‘test subjects’.

STYLE TYLE
After deciding which idea to work with, I conducted research on its overall style. This included aspects such as color usage and typography.

CONTEXT INSTALLATION
As this involved an interactive installation that needed to be placed on-site, I was asked about my ideas and how I would approach this. This is how I mapped it out.

TESTING
Towards the end of the project, I created a storyboard, which I also did at the beginning. In the storyboard, the installation is depicted during the red carpet event.
